Connex Credit Union Wins CUES Advertising Award

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (Aug. 4, 2015) – Connex Credit Union was recently honored at the 41st Annual Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) Golden Mirror Awards ceremony. The CUES Golden Mirror Awards are an annual competition created to honor those credit union leaders across the globe that drive innovation, increase impact, improve brand awareness and generate results for their organizations.
This year, Connex Credit Union captured second place in the Advertising category, under the Direct Marketing and Matrix sub-category, for their home equity loan and home equity line of credit direct mail campaign.
With this campaign, Connex honored its commitment to customer advocacy by distributing a self-mailer highlighting the numerous possibilities that can be obtained by utilizing the equity in one’s home. The mailers contained information about Connex’s desire to find the right loan for each of their members by offering competitive fixed rates on home equity loans and variable annual percentage rates (APR) for its home equity lines of credit. The mailers were also enhanced with graphics of the numerous opportunities that can be achieved with the spare money. The initiative targeted nearly 12,000 members in hyper-specific demographics and generated an annual return on investment of 125 percent.
