Essex Savings Bank will be sponsoring a Small Business Workshop on Tuesday, June 13th, 10:00 – 11:30 am, at the Scranton Memorial Library in Madison.  The presentation, “(Taking the Fear Out of) Small Business Selling” is being hosted by the Southeastern Connecticut chapter of SCORE, and will have Eric Munro as the speaker.  Mr. Munro will be discussing numerous “How tos” including knowing when to make the pitch, establishing trust, and following up and making the sale.

Eric Munro is a product management, sales and marketing executive with experience in high-technology businesses, both domestically and internationally. Most recently, Eric was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a telecommunications equipment manufacturer based in Meriden, Connecticut. His career also includes consulting in business management for a division of DeVry University as well as teaching graduate MBA classes where he provided his expertise on project and strategic management.
