Animal Awareness Day Come join us for a pet-friendly family fun free event at Branford Town Green located on Main Street in Branford, Noon – 4PM, rain or shine. Get ready to celebrate and learn about our furry friends! This event is all about raising awareness for animals and their well-being. Bring the kids, bring Fido, bring the whole family! Enjoy a variety of activities including: • Mini therapy horses & dogs – 12:15 • Mystic Aquarium Traveling Touch Tank - 1:00 to 4:00 • Blessing of the animals – Bring your pet for their individual blessing - 1:30 pm • Guiding Eyes for the Blind presentation - 2:30 • Missing Link K9 dog training demo - 3:15 • Artisan/craft/business vendors & rescue groups • Bake sale & food trucks • Merchandise table, raffles, games • Opossum ambassador from Farm River Wildlife Rescue • DJ provided by Nardella’s Music Be sure to stop by the 99.1 PLR Tent and say hello! Meet Phil from 12-2pm and hang out with Jon Kamal from 2-4pm. Discover ways to support animal rescue organizations and learn how to make a positive impact on the lives of animals.
