Dino Day at Bishop's Orchards

Dino Day will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 14th, at the Bishop's Orchards location at 480 New England Road in Guilford. Educators from the Yale Peabody Museum will visit the site with dinosaur fossils and other prehistoric artifacts. Visitors can touch these specimens, learn more about what life was like on the farm property when dinosaurs roamed the Earth millions of years ago, join a dinosaur-themed art project, and enter a drawing for an exciting giveaway. Visitors can also navigate a 3.25-acre brontosaurus-shaped corn maze while completing prehistoric-themed puzzles and other activities inspired by the Yale Peabody Museum. Any children ages 12 and under who get a ticket for the maze on Dino Day will receive a coupon for a dinosaur-themed ice cream at the Bishop’s Orchards Creamery. A miniature maze will also be available nearby. Dino Day is part of the Bishop's Orchards Fall Festival, which runs through November 3rd.
