On Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m., U.S. Fish and Wildlife staff Kris Vagos and Shaun Roche will be introducing us to the biology and history of Falkner Island.
Kris is a wildlife biologist working with the endangered Roseate Tern colony on the island; Shaun, the Visitor Services Manager at the Stewart B. McKinney
Wildlife Refuge will be sharing stories about the history of Falkner including the lighthouse.
The talk presented at Meigs Point Nature Center, is free and open to the public. Reservations are required, send an email to meigspointevents@gmail.com Include your name and phone number to reserve a seat.
