Local Artist Pop-Up: Ceramicist Linda Westgard at Guilford Art Center

Looking for a unique gift made by a local artist? Come shop at a special pop-up sale of ceramic work by local potter Linda Westgard on Saturday, December 21 from 12-4pm at Guilford Art Center’s HOLIDAY EXPO,
 
Linda Westgard is a ceramic artist who works primarily in stoneware which she throws and builds by hand and fires in a kiln she built herself. She uses a combination of traditional Japanese glazes along with other interesting glazes, and often leaves areas bare in order to reveal the clay's natural beauty and texture.  She also experiments with surfaces by carving and imprinting forms. 
 
The Shop is open 7 days a week. Hours: Monday through Saturday, 10:00am-5:00pm and Sunday 12:00-5:00pm.
