About Us

Guilford Performing Arts Festival (soon to become GreenStage Guilford Live Arts) presents a diverse, multi-day festival of music, dance, drama and spoken word on and around the Guilford Green every other fall. The 2023 festival, scheduled for September 17-24, will feature 21 free live performances (including three premieres of new work by Connecticut artists) and a to-be-determined number of workshops and master classes in the public schools and elsewhere. We stage the festival in partnership with other area arts and social service organizations, the town of Guilford and its library, community center and other departments, Guilford Public Schools, and local galleries, museums, senior living centers, shops, restaurants and churches. We're an all-volunteer organization that depends on business sponsorship, individual donations, grants from government entities, and private and community foundations for sustenance. Roughly 53% of our income is self-generated.
