    Solstice Senior Living at Guilford is proud to partner with S.H.O.R.E. in a Give Back to Veterans day-long fundraising event at The Guilford Mooring, 505 Whitfield St. Guilford on Tuesday, November 12th from noon-8 p.m.


    Senior Housing Relief for Elders (SHORE) is a 501(c)(3) organization that helps seniors and veterans transition into senior living communities. Their programs aim to make these transitions more affordable and accessible by addressing the financial and emotional challenges that come with them. 
     
    SHORE's programs include: VA Aid & Attendance Grant, Senior Living Community Micro-Grant, and AidandAttendance.com Grant. 
     
    SHORE was selected as the 2024 charity of the year for the ISL/SSL program,

    Assisted living can be expensive, often exceeding the financial means of many seniors and veterans. SHORE's mission is to improve access to quality housing and offer relief to seniors in their communities. SHORE's vision is a future where all seniors have access to affordable housing that allows them to thrive in the later years of their lives.
