V.F. McNeil Insurance Exceeds Fundraising Goal in Fitness Challenge for Make-A-Wish® Connecticut

The team at V.F. McNeil Insurance is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of its latest fitness fundraiser benefiting Make-A-Wish® Connecticut, which wrapped up on October 21. Thanks to the generous support of friends, family, clients, and colleagues, the team proudly raised a total of $13,407 to help grant wishes to children facing critical illnesses.

With an initial goal of $10,000, V.F. McNeil surpassed expectations as donations poured in from not only Connecticut, but across the country, including Florida, California, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Virginia, as well as an international contribution from Japan. The team recorded a remarkable 651 miles of physical activity and rallied supporters to raise $8,407 in donations, which was further boosted by a $5,000 donation match from V.F. McNeil.

“Our hearts are full of gratitude,” said a spokesperson from V.F. McNeil Insurance. “This wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of so many who joined our journey. Their kindness helps bring joy to a child who deserves a world beyond illness, and for that, we are truly thankful.”

The V.F. McNeil team commemorated the fundraiser’s success with Make-A-Wish® Connecticut staff, where they celebrated with stories of past wish recipients. The gathering included awards for team members with the highest miles logged and the greatest funds raised, and V.F. McNeil was presented with a plaque recognizing the team’s collective efforts in making this fundraiser a success.
